Classes for June 2021
The New Western Australian Museum Boola Bardip is a sensational, innovative place to visit and they have kindly invited the Sri Chinmoy Centre to run some free daytime meditation sessions there. The series is held on a Saturday over a period of three weeks in June. Some of the topics that will be covered include mantra, concentration, breathing techniques, diet, healthy lifestyle choices, music for meditation, how to sit correctly in meditation, the best places and times to meditate. All the ABC’s are covered. So you will learn the basics of meditation to help incorporate into your daily life. The meditation classes are a series, one follows on to the next so try and commit to the entire 3 weeks for maximum benefit.
We often get asked about daytime sessions in Perth city so now is your chance! This is the second series for 2021 at the museum and the first was really popular. Prabuddha Nicol is running the series of meditation classes. He has been meditating under the guidance of Sri Chinmoy for almost 40 years and has been giving free meditation workshops in Perth since 1996!
The venue is the Hackett Room 3, museum staff will guide you there if you need it or get lost. The classes run from 2.30pm – 4pm and commence on Saturday June 5th. There are plenty of parking or public transport options nearby.
