Multi Australian record holder,  Grahak Cunningham, originally from Busselton, WA, is a four-time finisher and the 2012 winner of what the New York Times described as the “Mt Everest of ultramarathons”.   The3100 Mile Self-Transcendence Race“, is an event which attracts the world’s greatest ultra runners and is considered by many to be the toughest ultramarathon in the world.   Held annually around a 900metre concrete block in the heart of New York’s grueling summer, runner’s must average a minimum of 95kms a day to make the 52 day cut off for the race.  In 2012, Grahak averaged a truly remarkable 115kms a day, breaking all his own previous Australian records along the way and finishing in 43 days, 10 hours and 36 minutes.  Grahak is one of only three Australians to ever complete this race.

During this talk, Grahak will share with you how his own practice of meditation and his life-long quest for self-discovery fuels him not only during these extraordinary races but in everything he approaches in life.

No matter where you are at in life, what your passion is, this talk will provide insights and practical guidance to help you deepen and further unlock the measureless power and peace will all have within.

Grahak is a member of the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team, which was founded by Sri Chinmoy in the late 70’s.  Around the world, the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team hosts hundreds of sporting events annually.
